The Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is seeking bids to set up a recreation and leisure project in Gurgaon, an official said Wednesday.”The project would be set up by private builders selected through international competitive bidding. The bidder should have a minimum worth of Rs.500 crore (Rs.5 billion),” HSIIDC spokesperson said.
He said the proposed project will be spread over an area of 350 acres at village Wazirabad in Gurgaon district, 25 km from New Delhi. It will comprise commercial, residential, sports and golf course facilities.
“Gurgaon, situated in the vicinity of New Delhi, is the corporate capital of India. It is also a major hub for the IT and ITeS (IT enabled services) industry and real estate development in north India. The project will provide a good outlet for professionals,” he added.
